Review: Beauty Bits Australia Compressed Face Masks

I’ve seen compressed face masks around for a while and not really known what they were so, when I saw these Compressed Face Masks from Beauty Bits Australia in TK Maxx a couple of months ago, I had to give them a try. They’re small, compressed face masks that you add liquid to so they grow and expand and become full sized sheet masks. With the amount of excess mask formula you end up with in sheet masks this seemed like the perfect way of using that up.

They had two varieties, one with the plain white sheet masks and this Assorted one which has a mix of charcoal infused black sheet masks along with the plain ones. This jar had ten of the charcoal infused ones and fifteen of the plain white sheet masks to make up the twenty five in the pack. These are no longer available in TK Maxx but I bought them for £9.99, at least that’s what the sticker says but I seem to remember it being less than that. There are a lot of companies doing these though so there might be a company that’s easier to find near you and this post might be helpful on deciding if you want to try them.

Review: Innovation Beauty 3 Brush Set

IB3brushesheader.jpg

I am so far behind with these brushes, or the style at least, I’m not sure what to call them, I’ve heard them called hairbrush style or toothbrush style so I’ll just go with both of them here. TK Maxx recently had a bit of a push with beauty products designed or made in Australia and this brand, Beauty Innovation, seems to have been one of them. I haven’t heard of them before and there isn’t much about them online, maybe some of you guys have heard of them.

This 3 Brush Set, a large linear brush, small oval brush and medium oval brush cost £19.99 about a month ago when I bought it and I can’t see it online but I know the one local to me still has some of their brushes in it so it’s worth checking out the beauty section if you’re interested in one. As I’ve had them for a month I’ve had a chance to give them a proper try and tried them in the ways they suggest as well as others and have found they work best with certain products, not necessarily the ones they recommend, but I’ll go into that more in a bit.

Review: Eco Beauty Australia Soothing Clay Pillow

ecobeautyclaypillowheader

I guess this is part 1 of this review really as this Clay Soothing Pillow from Eco Beauty Australia is designed for both heating and cooling and I’ve only used the heat part, I’ll definitely be trying the cooling side of it in the summer though. These normally cost £12.99 but it’s on TK Maxx for £6.99 at the moment so it’s not overly expensive anyway but worth getting it from there as it’s almost half off.

I got this from my parents for my birthday as I had a reusable owl heat pad thing with little ceramic (I think) balls inside it and the seems were going so it was being held together by plasters which is never the best thing when something is being microwaved daily. I find heat pads help so much with my muscle pain, which is why this post is in a Wednesday as it’s kind of an ME post in a way, definitely worth getting some kind of reusable heat heat pad thing and this is an option I didn’t know even existed.
